The final batch of cutscene work for Critical Shift by Rhinotales studio (Kazakhstan).
Over the course of production we created more than 40 cutscenes, some containing 30–40 frames each - a massive undertaking for a small indie team. It was exhausting, but the goal was clear: put story first.
We wanted every key character to feel memorable, every plot twist to hit like turning a page in a comic or watching the next episode of a series you can't put down - all woven between tactical combat and scrappy weapon crafting from salvaged parts.
This final selection leans into the quieter moments alongside the action - tense briefings, hard decisions, and the weight carried by people who've seen too much.
Thanks to Rhinotales and Alexander Pavlenko for an unforgettable project. Kazakhstan, you're amazing.
